Farmers Union Agents Distribute COVID Relief Checks

Thanks to company partner National General’s COVID Relief Initiative, several of our fabulous Agents were able to donate $500 each to local non-profits directly affected by the COVID shutdown.

Most of our Agents were able to meet with non-profit leaders to distribute COVID relief checks while adhering to social distancing guidelines.  Here are their stories:

Goodhue Agent Alison Peters and Lee Neste, Executive Director of Faith in Action, Red Wing

Crookston Agent Chris Swanson and Lori Wagner, Executive Director of the United Way of Crookston

Ivanhoe & Canby Agent Mike Panka donated to the United Way of SW MN

Barb Anderson and Steve Cattnach of Cattnach Agency donated to Generations in Luverne

Franklin Agent Joel Harmoning (Harmoning Agency) donated his check – and matched the donation for a total donation of $1,000! – to the Renville County Food Shelf in Olivia, MN, to purchase food through Second Harvest Heartland for citizens of Renville County in need.

Windom Agent Ted Winter and his wife, Marge, donated his check to the Fulda Area Food Shelf
